Gail Maciorowski: Brewster Avenue

Gail has been a crafter since her mother and grandmother taught her to knit at 6 yrs old. Her brave mother allowed her to sew on mom’s brand new sewing machine at that tender age too! Doll clothes, pocketbooks for very gracious friends all followed. Girl Scouts and 4H projects helped hone a skill. Working with leather in high school sealed the deal. Gail now works with textile, leather, and other mediums to produce design and decor for the coastal home. Ornaments, garlands, wreaths, bags, and so much more.

Rebecca Andrews EASY PEASY KIDS APPAREL

A lifetime, award winning seamstress who has created a line of easy dressing for babies and kids of all sizes. Her past sewing journeys have taken her to the creation of Moto-Cross leather bike racing suits to creating stuffed animals from hand-woven fabric, upholstery, and costumes.  When raising her own children, she devised a way to send them to their rooms and allow them to choose and dress themselves with one, easy zip. When folks started to notice these colorful outfits with their ease and simplicity, Becky got very busy! Parents love it, teachers love it, caregivers love it! Easy Peasy Kid’s Apparel.

Micky Malinowski BASKETS AND STAINED GLASS BY MICKEY

A 40 year veteran of basket-making, Mickey teaches basketry and sells baskets as a career. She transitioned into Nantucket Basket making twenty years ago. She collects Nantucket molds, and actively uses antique molds made from the masts of sailing vessels. Another of Mickey’s passions is stained glass. As a youngster, Mickey would help her aunt, after school, at her stained glass studio and retail store. Mickey’s work is impeccable and hangs in many Massachusetts homes and businesses.

Debra Dunphy is a talented and prolific artist who works in many mediums including oil, colored pencil, and, occasionally, watercolor. Debra is a saught after artist whose commission work has taken her across the nation. Her coastal and ski landscapes fill galleries and attract a crowd.
