Whether you aspire to become a photography judge/commentator or would just like to better understand what makes judges “tick,” this one-of-a-kind, one-day judging workshop will prepare you for the judge’s seat, build your confidence with live, real-time scoring and critiquing experience, and provide you with fresher understanding of what judges think and see. Led by CCAC Master Artist Bob Singer who has been a judge at PSA international salons, NECCC salons, camera clubs, art galleries and magazine competitions for over thirty years, this unique one-day workshop interactively involves you as it polishes your judging skills, understanding and insights.
After retiring from a long career in advertising and magazine publishing,  Bob became one of Cape Cod Art Center’s first juried Master Artists in fine art photography and an instructor at Cape Cod Art Center/Photography Center of Cape Cod. His traditional and contemporary images hang in homes and offices across the United States and in Europe. Over the last decade, Bob’s work has hung at the Cahoon Museum of Art, Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Osterville Fine Art, Soho Arts, Samuell-Day Gallery, Cape Cod Art Center, Audubon Long Pasture and Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuaries, Venice Art Center and Abbacino Galleria in Venice, Florida. His images and articles on digital photography have appeared in and on the covers of national magazines and newspapers, in advertising, annual reports, brochures, video productions and online. He is a recipient of NECCC’s prestigious MNEC appellation, awarded for his achievements in photography and his contributions to photographers in New England.  He is a multi-star exhibitor in PSA International Pictorial and PSA International Nature salons in which he earned hundreds of acceptances and awards including the CCCW Photographic Society of America Nature Division Bronze Medal.  His images have also been accepted and have won awards in the CCAC All Cape Cod, All New England, and National exhibitions as well as other open juried exhibitions. Bob co-founded the Cape Cod Art Center Camera Club, established CCAC’s highly successful series of spring photography seminars featuring world class photographers, and co-created with John Tunney and Roberta Miller the new fall Click photography conference.
