The Centerville Historical Museum kicks off 2019 with a series of 10 pre-Code films. (The movie-Production Code was actually in effect at the time these free-wheeling, controversial, and frank movies were made, but it wasn't enforced until the middle of 1934, when the censorship office cracked down on Hollywood. Hence, movies made from 1929 to 1934 are considered "pre-Code.")
ALL SHOWS ARE AT A NEW TIME 1:00 P.M. on Saturdays.
Admission is free. (Donations gladly accepted.) After-film discussion with Anthony Ambrogio for anyone wishing to know more about the film and the history.
