Jung-Ho Pak, Conductor
There’s nothing quite like spending a weekend on Martha’s Vineyard…especially if that weekend involves the inaugural three-day music festival Beach Road Weekend.
Kicking off Beach Road Weekend on Friday, you can relive the thrilling suspense of JAWS as the Cape Symphony plays along. Conducted by Jung-Ho Pak, the Cape Symphony will play the iconic Academy Award®-winning score by composer John Williams in sync with the film projected on a big screen. It’s an amazing opportunity to experience the power of a live symphony orchestra performing the soundtrack with one of the greatest motion pictures of all time on the island where the movie was filmed.
Saturday’s line-up for Beach Road Weekend includes Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty and Boston-based band Dispatch. Closing out the weekend will be legendary Phil Lesh and Friends, plus Vineyard favorite Grace Potter.
Beach Road Weekend is taking the Vineyard by storm August 9-11 at Veterans Memorial Park in Vineyard Haven. Single day and three-day tickets are available, with varying ticket prices starting at $35, and VIP seating is available. Tickets are available at Beach Road Weekend. Tickets cannot be purchased from the Cape Symphony Box Office.
